David Harding

David has an extensive track record of growing successful businesses both as start ups and mature companies. He has over 10 years experience as CEO of a professional services SME where he drafted and implemented a 4 year business plan that saw turnover growth from £4m to £18m. He has excellent business management, project management, marketing, communication and people skills. Using these skills, he has achieved success in building and managing construction-related operations in the UK, Middle East and Far East. This has included establishing new trading companies in the UK, UAE and in Vietnam. He has also implemented marketing strategies that have resulted in a substantial portfolio of multi-million pound project awards. /In the wake of the economic downturn of the last 3 years, David has developed detailed skills in business restructuring and re-financing. He has developed excellent working relationships in this area with corporate finance and legal restructuring specialists, venture capitalists, business angels, banks and other funding institutions.

David’s passion to help the business knowledge of others has covered a wide audience. He has acted as a business adviser to the Young Enterprise programme and has presented at the ACE annual conference on SME evolution. He is now working with NXD to help advise the boards of other SMEs to grow their businesses even in the most challenging of times.
