Graeme is a Non Executive Director, Interim Manager and Consultant with extensive experience in growing, managing and developing companies from start-up to European subsidiaries of a Fortune 500 US Corporation.
Graeme’s particular skills include a strong financial bias with the analytical discipline that a engineering degree gives and combines these to provide expertise in developing strategy, setting strategic direction, business planning, change management, cultural development, building strong teams and effective organisational structure, cost reduction and improving customer service. His particular passion is in assisting SMEs to fulfill the potential that is often underdeveloped and unable to take an already profitable business to new heights. /A strong manufacturing background has been enhanced in recent years by working in the private/public sector interface in areas of business support and the creation of a National Skills Academy for process industries. Over the last year he has been involved in an interim role managing £100m of public sector contracts in adult social care and restructuring the organisation team in order to more effectively performance manage these contracts in the future.
For over 20 years Graeme has held both Executive and Non Executive Director positions in manufacturing, business support, leadership and management skills and economic development organisations. He has extensive experience in company governance and has chaired audit committees for publicly funded companies. His focus is now to assist companies to survive and utilise the significant changes that have occurred in the last two years to improve performance through strategic analysis and repositioning, mentoring and organizational change.
