Hugh is an accomplished Finance Director and Non Executive with a wealth of ‘change management’ experience at a strategic and operational level.

His finance and management career has spanned a very wide and varied range of sectors as well as types and sizes of business. Following his time with Price Waterhouse, his operational finance career embraced a series of multi site UK and international listed ‘blue chip’ PLCs. Over recent years, working as a Consultant, Interim Manager and Non Executive Director, he has worked across a diverse range of SME businesses, including ‘start up’ operations, at Board level in a series of financial and project roles.

Hugh’s operational background is a blend of both private and public businesses and has enabled him to focus on helping businesses develop their strategy and undertake key developments in an effective and controlled manner. His experience also encompasses IT and procurement management, with key skills in business reorganisation and rationalisation, cost reduction, overhauling finance functions, implementing tight financial and working capital controls and M&A integration.
