Jackie Jenks

Jackie is an award winning Enterprise Ambassador who has been nominated by the UK government to lead Corporate Mentoring. She is recognised as a people development specialist. She has worked in the business banking and teaching industries for over 28 years having been responsible nationally for training, project management and people development. In the last 5 years she has directly supported numerous businesses through mentoring and has enabled hundreds of other mentors to do the same through her training and guidance.

Jackie supports individuals and organisations in achieving practical implementation of their strategic goals. She is a pioneer in the field of mentoring and has led/advised on numerous Enterprise Support and Mentoring programmes. This includes organisations such as Lloyds Banking Group, Lloyds Foundations, the School for Social Entrepreneurs, Pearsons, the UK and Belgium Government and the charities Leonard Cheshire and the School of Hard Knocks.

Jackie comes from a family business background and has a deep understanding of the driving forces needed by SMEs. Jackie holds chair roles for the UK’s Corporate Mentoring Network, for the Enterprise Diversity Alliance and for the UK’s Enterprise Mentoring Advisory Council. She is an Ambassador for the School of Hard Knocks.

Jackie studied Financial Services at the University of Manchester Business School followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with the University of Plymouth: she has professional qualifications in mentoring, banking and management. She acted as lead tutor for several years for the Institute of Financial Services. She holds roles as International Partnerships Director for the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs and as Global Delivery Specialist for the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Jackie won UK Enterprise Ambassador award in 2014 at the House of Lords. She is a fellow of the IOEE and the RSA. She has been commissioned to write and talk about her work extensively including at the European Commission, House of Lords, leading Universities, the European Human Rights Commission, the Institute of Collaborative Working and numerous SME events with published articles in HR Director, Share Radio, Global Banking and Finance and Farming Landscape.

A businesswoman who cares about making a difference and helping others to succeed Jackie helps clients create their strategies and then ensures their strategies work for them on a practical day to day basis. She cultivates change, business and personal growth through support, signposting and challenge using a range of interventions to suit their needs.
