Andy has followed a long and distinguished 19 year career with Hewlett Packard with a 15 year portfolio of directorships, both executive and non-executive along with advisory roles in support of emerging and developing businesses, both listed and private.

Andy has supported a number of businesses in gaining funding and has sat on both sides of the table in sale and purchase of businesses. His current assignments include chairmanships of a high-tech manufacturing business as well as a Customer Experience consultancy.

His experience includes managing and leading the whole spectrum of companies from multinational IT-services businesses to local charities with all varieties in between.  Having gained comprehensive experience in business leadership and management up to and including at board level in organisations around the world, Andy is now passionate about sharing his learning’s with the business leaders of the future. He has gained a profile as an executive coach & mentor and applies his energies both in the commercial market along with activities in the charity and social enterprise context.

One of his recent assignments was as Executive Director of a newly formed business – the Pearson Academy for Vocational Training, a best in class skills training business serving the Power Engineering, Rail, Construction and Oil industries along with other safety critical sectors such as Emergency Services. He has also served as board advisor to the charity New Approaches to Cancer, is a former Chairman of the Samaritans in Berkshire and is a Trustee of the Talent Foundation – a research organisation focussed on development in the workplace.
