Chris is a highly experienced Business Growth executive advisor with coaching, mentoring and consultancy skills and several years’ experience of working with entrepreneurs in start-up, early stage and scale-up businesses. His track record includes 20 years in blue chip corporate management, Chief Manager in services marketing and sales, as well as overseas consultancy & project management engagements in the US and Middle East and sectors such as financial services, logistics and defence.

Chris understands the drivers of high performance and the role of digital technology in creating modern scalable and sustainable business models – familiar with the use of social media. Helps businesses negotiate the labyrinth of government support and working knowledge of finance options such as equity, loan and asset based finance options including crowdfunding.

He is currently an Associate/Member of Business Growth Service, Berkshire Growth Hub, NXD, IOD, IOEE, Enterprise Nation, and ConnectTVT. He is a modest Investor five start-ups and has personal experience of failed investments.

In addition to previously being Chairman of a digital consulting company his advisory achievements include:

Business W: Sourced Grant Funding £20k+. Demonstrable role in recent Crowdfunding success – company raised £192k against target of £150k for 6.32% equity. Shaped negotiations for engagement of a leading UK University to set up business Incubator/Accelerator.
Business J: Negotiated grant funding £20k+ building on founders personal investment £75K+ and worked post launch to support angel equity investment £120k and negotiations with potential major partners to explore buyout potential.
Business C: Evidencing £1m valuation for existing business and behind the scenes advice re potential merger. Working to better value the potential of a wider application of the core IP.

His Strategic Marketing Projects include:

A high level current state assessment of the executive team of a niche Saudi Arabia Bank with a written report and 1:1 review.
Review of a US centric car rental company’s premium customer offering to diagnose current reasons for failure and blueprint the ‘to be’ offering;
Design and development in the USA of a franchised chain of retail outlets for a FedEx competitor initially through a pilot of 30+ branches including business plan, store design, bespoke product range, point of sale technology, franchisee recruitment and training programme;
