Nicholas works in a variety of capacities (from advisory & consulting to full time roles) within the technology sector who value the blue-chip experience he has gained to help them build scalable growth and strategic/shareholder value.
Being part of the huge growth of BT gave Nicholas the insight and passion for helping companies with technology propositions/business models that are shaping our lives as consumers and in business.
Nicholas has spent the last few years working with disruptive technologies across software, Big Data, Analytics and Telco/Mobile businesses selling into new markets across Africa, Middle East & Europe.
As an experienced analytically minded managing director/sales director/operations director, Nicholas has been on the main board of 2x PLC’s, providing specific direction that delivered significant growth and exit, led the turnaround as managing director of a £60m business, created the UK’s 1st MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) business creating 700,00 new customers and been the manager/player of several start-up businesses seeking to grow outside of their core business geography.
With a track record of delivering operational improvement and revenue growth by sharpening the proposition, building go to market strategies and incremental revenue streams, business & channel development, lead generation across a wide range of channels selling to both the consumer and business enterprise markets. Nicholas also helps organisations build strategic value through the development of strategic plans that looks at the strategies and drivers required to improve the value.
Nicholas’s significant international start-up experience has allowed him to pursue professional business interests in board advisory, mentoring and coaching with emphasis on helping the next generation of business leaders and to build his portfolio of senior executive and non-executive positions.
