Rob is a mature and experienced international executive with all round business management ability. He has over 30 years experience in General Management, Sales, Negotiations, Marketing, Project Management and R&D in IT Services, Software and Defence Electronics.
For the last 16 years Rob worked at IBM in the UK. For much of that time he held senior executive positions and worked both in UK and on the European mainland. His roles included:- responsibility for Cloud Services deployment in the UK;- Director of /Contracts and Negotiations for Europe leading;- Director of Sales for IBM’s Integrated Technology Services in the UK, Ireland and South Africa;- extensive Strategic Outsourcing sales leadership winning over US$5Bn of multinational business;- P&L responsibility.
Prior to IBM Rob worked for Data Sciences, a mid-sized UK IT company as a Sales Manager responsible for ‘new logo’ business, with particular focus on the Public Sector. He joined Data Sciences from Siemens Plessey Defence Systems where his roles included development and project management of complex military systems, management of a research team and sales.
