Rob spent most of his career working for overseas companies as MD/CEO of their UK subsidiaries.  He describes himself as an all-round MD/CEO with a commercial (strategy, sales and marketing) orientation.

Rob launched SEA Tudor onto the UK market, winning 5% market share within 2 years and increased profits 500% from 10% ROS (£250k) to 25% (£1.25m) ROS.

Opportunities usually came about because of business problems; Rob discovered that he had a talent for business growth and turning businesses around, dealing with crises, developing businesses and putting them on the path for sustainable profits

Rob comes from a family business background spending his school holidays working in the family firm, eventually becoming a salesperson for the company after leaving full-time education.  The business was sold and Rob was appointed General Manager by the new owners. Around this time Rob added professional qualifications to his practical experience.

Rob is Non-Executive Chair of an SME and a Non-Executive Advisor to the Board of 2 other organisations.  He has previously been part-time CEO for an online brand development company and also acts as an advisor to SMEs.

He is a keynote speaker at HSBC and NatWest events, the Business Network and the Institute of Directors (IOD). Articles about Rob have appeared in business publications such as CIE and Growth Business magazine
